DaCasa Records

The best food is home made. The art of home cooking collects traditions of a region or a family though the generations. You can taste all the peculiarities, secrets, tragedies and culminations. The best music is home made – feito da casa. Handmade with love for very close people in a spontaneous situation, in a mystical moment of an absolute peace. DaCasa Records waves a flag of the world music and jazz, but it is also open to other nonchalant and original productions faraway from commerce and cliches, which provide another little research of a human Dasein.

DaCasa Records is distributed by Galileo MC.

Trick-Trague

Release 26.4.2019

We are happy to present the second album of Rosa Morena Russa, a Russian – Ukrainian singer with a Jewish origin living in Hamburg Germany. The album has a fantasy name “Trick-Trague” and has been recorded in Rio, Berlin and Hamburg. This time Rosa is singing in Russian, Portuguese, English and Yiddish. The Brazilian rhythm section of Zé Luiz Maia and Elcio Cáfaro was already shining at the side of a great Luiz Melodia. It is reinforced by a blowing power of the brass section, containing of Dan Gottshall and Leandro Saint Hill who are already known from the first album.

WE SHOUT FOR PEACE!!!

36 people from 15 countries gathered together to send a peace message to this world. The song was produced by a jewish and an arab singer from Hamburg and Berlin. It’s based on an old khassidic Nigun (jewish religious vocal music) “Volt ikh gehat koyekh”, which has been transformed into a peace song a long time ago by singer Adrienne Cooper.

The more the war makes us dumb, the more you want to scream, sing, pray and whisper for peace. When one day everyone participates, when nobody distinguishes between “us” and “them”, when a deep comprehension of unity touches our hearts, the war will stop by itself. This is the message of the song, sung in Yiddish, Eton, French, Arabic and German.

This song is dedicated to those who, far from the limelight, reach the rescuing hands to people in need

GREAT THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED!!!

If I had strength, I would tear through the streets
Shouting, “Peace, peace, peace!”
I will have strength and will tear through the streets
Singing everyday “Peace, peace, peace!”
Singing and praying peace with my brothers and sisters
Until it reaches every heart and the war stops by itself.
